About the Team
The gTech Ads team provides technical support and solutions for Google’s advertising ecosystem. The team helps advertisers and partners maximize their return on investment by providing tools, support services, and technical expertise for Google Ads products.
The team works closely with Google’s Product, Engineering, and Sales teams to improve products and deliver scalable solutions to millions of advertisers globally.
Role Summary
The Customer Support Specialist will troubleshoot technical issues, assist advertisers and partners, and develop solutions to improve product performance. The role also involves building automation tools and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve Google Ads products.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide customer support for Google Ads advertisers, partners, and agencies.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and product problems.
- Work with Google Sales and Engineering teams to resolve customer escalations.
- Develop automation tools and diagnostics to improve product debugging.
- Provide feedback to product teams to improve Google Ads features.
- Support strategic technical projects related to advertising solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues.
- Experience with system design or reading code such as Java, C++, or Python.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Engineering, or related field.
- 5 years of experience working with analytics, coding, or customer web technologies.
- 5 years of experience with SQL/MySQL and data analysis.
- Experience with Unix or Linux systems.
- Experience in operations management or process improvement.
